This Equinox natural phenomenon happens twice a year in March 21-23 called Spring Equinox and in September 21-23 called Autumn Equinox. This names applied to the Northern Hemisphere only. For Southern Hemisphere, the names are reversed, March called Autumn and September called Spring. This names to respect the seasons and sunlight.
As for Cambodia 🇰🇭 due to the well thought astronomical architecture of Angkor Wat temple that the Sun ☀️ rises over the central tower of Angkor Wat temple on these days. This special natural phenomenons are called Angkor Equinox.
