Samnang got educated by chunks, this meant he got education by living with the monk in a Buddhist Monastery. If you have been through his Biography on his social work AFK organization, you would have seen the long stories of how his education get developed over the time and all started with the three years dedicated to the Buddhist study.

Here with this article, Sam is sharing the fundamental practices as Buddhists and apply to general people to live correctly by not hurting others and oneself. This article is written in Khmer language (Sam’s native language and in English, his developmental language. Here you go:

ថ្ងៃនេះ​ជាថ្ងៃ​ឧបោសថសីល​ Sam Inspire សុំលេីយកសីលប្រាំនិង​ ប្រាំបី​ មកចែករំលែកជាភាសាខ្មែរនិងអង់គ្លេសដូចតទៅ៖
Today is Sila Day also known as Buddhist Holy Day, Oposatha Day, and Precepts Observance Day. SAM INSPIRE page would like to share the the 8 Sila Buddhist Precepts in Khmer and English as following:

​ការរក្សាឧបោសថសីល ឬសីល៨ មានភាពខុសប្លែកគ្នាពីការរក្សានិច្ចសីល ឬ សីល៥ ព្រោះការរក្សាឧបោសថសីល ធ្វើឡើងតែ៤ថ្ងៃ (ឬ៤សីល)ក្នុងមួយខែ គឺថ្ងៃ៨រោច ថ្ងៃ១៥រោច ថ្ងៃ៨កើត ថ្ងៃ១៥កើត ហើយឧបោសថសីលក្នុងថ្ងៃនីមួយៗ រក្សាតែមួយយប់មួយថ្ងៃប៉ុណ្ណោះ។
ចំណែកឯសីល៥វិញ មិនបានកំណត់កាលឬកំណត់ថ្ងៃដូច្នេះទេ ព្រោះសីល៥ គឺជាសីលដែលត្រូវរក្សាជារៀងរាល់ថ្ងៃ ជានិច្ចនិរន្តរ៍ ដូច្នេះហើយទើបមានវេវចនស័ព្ទមួយទៀតហៅថា និច្ចសីល។
The 8 Precepts are observed only 4 days a month on the Khmer Lunar Calendar. Two days on the Waxing part, and other two days on Waning part. The 8th and 15th/14th Waxing on Lunda months and 8th and 15th/14th of Waning Lunar months.
While the 5 precepts are observed on daily basic. This means that only 3 of the 8 precepts are on those 4 days in addition to the 5 daily precepts.

ខាង​ក្រោម​នេះជាសេក្ខាបទទាំងប្រាំបី៖ Hereunder are the 8 precepts:

សិក្ខាបទ​១:​ បាណាតិបាតា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាននូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេត នាជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយាធ្វើ សត្វមានជីវិតឲ្យធ្លាក់ចុះក្នុងកន្លង គឺសម្លាប់សត្វ។
Precept 1: I undertake the precept to refrain from destroying living creatures.

សិក្ខាបទ២:​ អទិន្នាទានា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាននូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនា ជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយាកាន់យក នូវវត្ថុដែលគេមិនបានឲ្យដោយកាយឬដោយវាចា។
Precept 2: ‎I undertake the precept to refrain from taking that which is not given.

សិក្ខាបទ៣:​ អព្រហ្មចរិយា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាននូវសិក្ខាបទគឺចេត នា ជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយាប្រ ព្រឹត្តនូវធម៌មិនប្រសើរ គឺសេពនូវមេថុនធម្ម។
Precept 3: I undertake the precept to refrain from sexual misconduct.

សិក្ខាបទ៤:​ មុសាវាទា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនា ជាហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយាពោល នូវពាក្យកុហក។
Precept 4: ‎I undertake the precept to refrain from incorrect speech.

សិក្ខាបទ៥:​ សុរាមេរយមជ្ជប្បមាទដ្ឋានា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាន នូវ សិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុ វៀរចាកហេតុជាទីតាំងនៃសេចក្តីប្រមាទ គឺផឹកនូវទឹកស្រវឹង គឺ សុរា និងមេរ័យ។
Precept 5: ‎I undertake the precept to refrain from intoxicating drinks and drugs which lead to carelessness.

សិក្ខាបទ៦:​ វិកាលភោជនា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាននូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេត នា ជាហេតុវៀរចាក កិរិយា បរិភោគនូវភោជនាហារក្នុងកាលខុស។
Precept 6: ‎I undertake the precept to refrain from eating at the forbidden time (i.e., after noon).

សិក្ខាបទ៧:​ នច្ចគីតវាទិតវិសូកទស្សន មាលាគន្ធវិលេបនធារណមណ្ឌន វិភូសនដ្ឋានា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណា សូមសមាទាននូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជា ហេតុវៀរចាកកិរិយា រាំ និង ច្រៀង និងមើលនូវលែ្បងដែលជាសត្រូវដល់កុសលធម៌ និង កិរិយាទ្រទ្រង់ និងប្រដាប់និង តាក់តែងស្អិតស្អាងរាងកាយដោយផ្កាកម្រង និងគ្រឿងក្រអូប និងគ្រឿងលាបផ្សេងៗ។
Precept 7: I undertake the precept to refrain from dancing, singing and playing music, going to see entertainments, wearing garlands, using perfumes, and beautifying the body with cosmetics.

​សិក្ខាបទ៨:​ ឧច្ចាសយនមហាសយនា វេរមណី សិក្ខាបទំ សមាទិយាមិ។ ខ្ញុំព្រះករុណាសូមសមាទាន នូវសិក្ខាបទ គឺចេតនាជាហេតុវៀរ ចាកទីសេនាសនៈ ដ៏ខ្ពស់ហួសប្រមាណ និងទីសេនាសនៈ ដ៏ប្រសើរ។
Precept 8: I undertake the precept to refrain from lying on a high or luxurious sleeping place.
